He Never Measured Up

He Never Measured Up belongs to the new wave of vertical dramas: a revenge and powerful women story framed tall and cut into bite-size episodes. There are 72 quick episodes, so the full series adds up to roughly 1 h 48 min — shorter than most feature films. The plot, in short:

Nora Ward endures the humiliating treatment from Henry Jones, who even allows Macy Kelly to eavesdrop on them. Despite giving him another chance, Nora is further insulted by Henry's friends. The situation culminates when Henry discovers Nora's true identity—she has married a man from a powerful family. Realizing he was merely a pawn in her game, Henry is utterly shattered.
