Five years ago, drugged human Iris fled to a luxury hotel and tangled with heat-stricken wolf alpha Kael for one night. Years later, single mom Iris nannies at Blackwood Manor to save gene-failing son Ezra, reuniting with Kael. Drawn to her jasmine scent, he thinks she left for money, tormenting her with endless harsh insults.
