Stolen Valor: Return of the Sword God

If you like revenge and underdog rise stories you can follow one-handed, Stolen Valor: Return of the Sword God is built exactly for that: a 9:16 series designed for mobile. Like most vertical dramas, it moves fast: short episodes, a cliffhanger at the end of each, and no filler. The plot, in short:

Sixteen years after the Roland family crippled, poisoned, and abandoned him in the snow for bearing the Abyss Curse, Kyle returns as the Sword God. Back in the Holy City to save the Saintess, he finds Lucas stole his glory and his mother faces execution. With a wooden sword, Kyle slays apostles and a demon god—and reclaims his family.
