The three wolf clans stand in a tripartite balance of power. The Starfall Royal Clan fell prey to the covetous Ashrock faction fifteen years ago for their rare purifying bloodline and was deliberately exterminated. Isola, the sole surviving princess, had the prophecy tampered with to brand her a harbinger of calamity. Her powers were sealed from childhood, and she was reduced to the lowest menial servant of Ashrock, enduring endless abuse.
