Not Your Average Crow

Not Your Average Crow is a short-form drama drama filmed vertically, with close framing that keeps every reaction on screen. There are 30 quick episodes, so the full series adds up to roughly 45 min — shorter than most feature films. The plot, in short:

Emily believes she is a lowly crow who accidentally lands in a phoenix nest. Adopted by Queen Angelina, she keeps trying to escape before a trial exposes her. But when the Magic Mirror shatters and Hellfire dies around her, Emily learns she is the long-lost Abyssal Phoenix—and uncovers a plot threatening her new family.
