My Son Called Another Woman Mom

If you like powerful women stories you can follow one-handed, My Son Called Another Woman Mom is built exactly for that: a 9:16 series designed for mobile. There are 45 quick episodes, so the full series adds up to roughly 1 h 8 min — shorter than most feature films. The plot, in short:

Ada is secretly "Dr. Z," a genius scientist with hyperthymesia and fluency in seven languages. To care for her son Leo, who has a bleeding disorder, she gives up her career and becomes a full-time wife. But her husband Damian has always favored his first love, Vivienne—and even Leo is won over by her, calling her "mom" and wishing she could replace Ada. After six years of devotion, Ada faces betrayal from both husband and son. She wakes up, ends the marriage, and returns to science. As Dr. Z, she reclaims her glory—and when Vivienne tries to steal her research, Ada exposes her crimes publicly. Damian and Leo, realizing too late what they lost, kneel and beg her to return. But Ada has already moved on, radiant and unstoppable, never looking back.
