Mom's Lucky Star

Mom's Lucky Star belongs to the new wave of vertical dramas: a romance story framed tall and cut into bite-size episodes. It runs 72 episodes of roughly one to two minutes each — about 1 h 48 min in total, easy to finish over a few commutes. Here is what the story is about.

Skye Reeve and Kyle Shea had an unexpected intimate encounter, but Kyle Shea regarded her as a gold-digger. Skye Reeve endured the humiliation and left, unaware that she was already pregnant with his daughter. Six years later, Skye Reeve faced another crisis. She had no choice but to ask her daughter Yvonne to reach out to Kyle Shea for help. In her moment of desperation, Kyle Shea arrived, and thus their fates reconnected.
