Jilted Bride, Bound to a Commander

Jilted Bride, Bound to a Commander is a short-form revenge and powerful women drama filmed vertically, with close framing that keeps every reaction on screen. Episodes last a minute or two each, so you can watch a few on a break or binge the whole story in one evening. The plot, in short:

Jilted by Hugh Wade, Kiera James tears up the marriage contract that could save her life and treats the poisoned commander Ewan Chase. Hunted and framed by Eastern Depot Eunuch Jarrett, she burns her own blood to keep him alive, sealing them with the same-life gu. Now every strike meant to kill him could take her too.
