After Elena’s death, her soul lingered beside Adrian, the man who hated her deeply. She watched him drown in endless resentment, while the truth he had deliberately ignored gradually surfaced. His so-called betrayal was a misunderstanding, and the woman he hated had loved him with all her heart. When all truths were revealed, Adrian was drowned in remorse, yet Elena was gone forever, dying in the year he loathed her the most. No amount of repentance could bring her back, and her soul would never turn back for him.
