Contract of the Damned

Made for the phone in your hand, Contract of the Damned tells a romance and underdog rise story in portrait mode — no rotating, no black bars. With 40 episodes lasting a minute or two, the whole story takes around 1 h to watch from start to finish. The plot, in short:

Set in 1980s Eden City, stripper Vivian marries Victor, head of the Luciano family, and runs his underground empire. Her strength arouses suspicion; Victor frames her for adultery and sends her to prison. She fights her way out, bent on revenge. Victor's son Milo, secretly in love with her, becomes a willing pawn. Her sister Vera works as a double agent; first love Francis joins Victor against her. In the end, Vivian rebuilds the underground order.
